3 months on Wegovy - sudden side effects

So I started Wegovy in January. I had 3 stone to lose. Very few symptoms for the first three months and I’ve now lost 1.5 stone.
Last week was my 6th week of 1mg and I suddenly had horrible side effects; terrible stomach cramps, diarrhoea, vomiting, insomnia, muscle pains. I was completely out of action from Saturday night til Tuesday afternoon. I decided it must just be a freak occurrence. Bizarrely, I’ve put on weight despite eating almost nothing for almost a week as since then I’ve had no appetite.
I injected 1mg again this morning hoping it would be back to normal but I’m already starting to feel rough; wind & stomach cramps. I’m worried I’m going to have another awful few days and we have visitors arriving for the weekend tomorrow! Has anyone else experienced this?

I would stay off it til your abdomen can be examined by a dr.

I dont think it’s advised to just stop. It specifically says it should be taken continuously and like i said, I was thinking that episode was just a freak occurrence. It might still be of course, I’m wondering about other people’s experiences.

Had exactly the same but with Mounjaro. Did the same and injected after recovering as was so sure it wasn’t related but it definitely was. I’ve come off it entirely, took 2 weeks to feel “normal”
again.

@Canyoudigityesyoucan Ok that’s interesting. I would have expected a reaction if I’d gone up a level but it seemed strange when the dose was the same.
