About 1/2 way to where I would like to be - about 1.5 stone to go. Need some motivation!

I'm enjoying getting back comfortably into clothes I've not worn in a while and seeing a waist.

I'm stronger and fitter.

Fitting in to 95% of the clothes that I’ve not been able to wear and could only look at 😳 👌

The warmer weather and brighter days makes me want to grab my trainers and headphones and just walk wherever the day takes me.

I love those days. Taking a week off from work next week (for mental health reasons) and looking forward to making the most it with lots of walking and sketchbooking!

Clothes fitting better, especially that feeling of having space inside the clothes instead of everything being a bit too tight.

Feeling lighter on my feet when walking.

Being back to one chin.

TBH it's just feeling normal.
Whenever I go somewhere I always have a scan around to see if I'm the fattest person there. I always was on the school mums pub trips. Now I never am, I'm just one of the average sized people. I hated feeling like I stood out or that if people were describing me they'd probably include the word big.

And also buying clothes 😍Trying things on and not immediately wanting to cry, being able to wear anything that I want and feel good in it.

Oh yes, back to one chin!

I ordered some clothes on line and trying them on last night it was such a difference that they fitted and I was thinking does that suit me? rather than - how my god that just looks tight.

Definitely buying clothes I actually like

Feeling lighter and healthier

Having cheekbones

Actually enjoying my food. Looking forward to a pizza or a Sunday pub lunch, because it’s a treat and not something I do regularly

Being less worried I will develop diabetes etc.

The fact I now need to buy clothes in smaller sizes due to shrinking out of them, rather than larger due to expanding out of them.

  • Clothes fitting better.
  • running faster and not feeling like I’m dying!
  • when you suddenly just notice a part of you looking slimmer/toned/nicer- often it’s not a bit you expect/focus on. Like I am constantly scrutinising my tummy/thighs but then last week noticed my arms and shoulders are looking really nice 👌
  • learning to be a bit kinder to myself

@BarrelOfOtters It was a candid photo highlighting an unfortunate chin angle that spurred me on to start losing weight! I deleted it but it is burned into my brain.
