Will I actually loose any weight doing this?

I'm looking to loose a stone in weight. I'm terrible at sticking to diets and also regular exercise.

I've decided I will cut out all snacking and stick to 3 healthy meals a day. I'm will also aim to walk more and quicker.

Will this help me loose any weight or do I need to be more drastic?

well if your snacks before now consisted of half an apple - then unlikely

if we’re talking loads of crisps and chocolates… then yes

🤷

i would have thought that was fairly obvious

It depends if you create a calorie deficit by doing this. If you're eating large portions at mealtimes for example, then maybe not.

That's how I lost a stone, I don't count calories strictly, but I roughly know I was eating around 1500/1600 cals per day and aimed for 10k steps per day. I also started couch to 5k to help with the step count and went to the gym more.
My snacking was my downfall as it consisted mostly of chocolate so I gave it up for lent and that's when I lost most of the stone.
