if you loose alot of weight, say 4 or 5 stone, does you stomach actually shrink, so you feel you cant eat as much as you used to?

Hmm, I think it's more a case of re-educating your mind and attitude to food so you think that you can eat less to be full. I have lost 3 stone (on Cambridge diet so really should have a tiny tummy) but after a weekend of easter overindulgence, I realised I can still pack it away.

I'm down maybe 2 stone from my pre-pregnancy weight. My stomach absolutely is much smaller, my eating habits are just different, and my stomach has adjusted appropriately.

i am hoping my eating habits will change with time. i have been doing weight watchers for 2 months now and still love fatty stodgy food just as much, but hoping this will change the less i eat of them.

my ww leader was saying last week that as you loose weight, your stomach shrinks, so you dont want to eat as much as you did before.

I lost 6.5 stones with WW in 2005 and I could easily put the whole lot back on. I have accepted the fact that I will constantly battle with my weight and I have to follow a strict plan.

well done chipstick.

looks like she was fibbing to us!

I always think, How did your stomach stretch in the first place? You ate too much? Why, because generally you don't know when to stop. Thats why even now I have to write every down every day and stick to my points. Its not easy and I have put 2st back on but I have to refocus and go back to basics and start planning meals again.

Its a nightmare battling with weight, I'm very envious of people who have always been a size 12 and never need to battle.

I like the saying 'I've never met a calorie I didn't like' So true for me :-(
