anyone read the Gok Wan book or seen the programme? What a revolution! Why can't we be gorgeous and a size 12+? I spent so long down about weight gain post DS (now 2) and hid myself in baggy, unflattering clothes. I have lost a stone/stone and a half but still size 14-16. I have invested in some sexy and magic underwear, some flattering clothes and a great new hairstyle. Okay still watch what i eat and try to exercise with aim to lose a bit more but why not look good in the meantime?

hello Roseability

I agree a lot with this approach, after DS1 was born I had 4 stone to loose and felt miserable while cutting down on food. this time after DS2 was born, I've tried to make myself look as good as possible with good clothes etc while size 20 - am now down to size 16 and finding the process much less hard second time round. Trinny and Susannah tips have been good for me, - they have a fashion-fixer thing on the littlewoods site where you put in info about your proportions and then they suggest styles to suit you (and buy from LW of course) but will try Gok W book too.

it is a real shame the way women are made to feel rubbish because of their weight. the aim should be to be healthy and enjoy life rather than be skinny for the sake of it.
