If so, please advise me how you do it?? I reached goal 3 weeks ago having lost 2 stone and felt absolutely fantastic. But I have been here before and already I have put half a stone back on How do you stop that cocky little voice in your head saying 'well I've lost the weight, so I can have that now'. My willpower has gone totally, and already I am feeling low with the amount already gained. I do not want to put it all back on, but I am so struggling. Someone kick me.

No... You don't want to hear this, but I lost 2 stone a couple of years ago and have put it all back on...

Am trying to start again without going back to WW - very hard though.

Dottydot - Thanks for the reply. At least I am not the only one. I suppose you just have to keep trying and hope that one day you will turn a corner.

ooh ohh. me!! i've done it!!!!! i was totally miserble...had been for years. afetr having my 3rd baby, i went for it....
i lost 40 lbs over about 7 months. i have stayed at my goal weight for a year now.

tbh, i'm not that great to advise because i don't maintain it properly/healthily...oops! i am just very consious about how i juggle my points....i loosely (very loosley!) point my food and sort of stick to about 18 a day. if i go out for a coffee, i'll have a cake instead of lunch, not as well as. if i know i'm having a lardy tea, then i'll eat a ww 1/2 point can of soup and a piece of fruit for lunch.

i consider my options, and always remember the ww motto...make wise food choices, so i won't "waste" 13 points on something unless i'm gagging for it, instead i'll choose a lower pointed meal....

i think that if you put on weight easily, you need to view ww as a lifestyle commitment, rather than a quick fix of shedding lbs...by all means, treat yourself, but only if you can think of nothing else!!

if i'm feeling a bit miserable...i do reach for crap...and we have plenty of it here! but i don't dwell on it and try to get out for a walk to feel a bit better....

don't give up now...you've done so well. go to a local meeting...get out your books and re read them. start again, and give yourself a bit of motivation.....do it today, and find your enthusiam again. if you can get back into the swing of it, stick to it and loosing a few pounds again will spur you on.

good luck......x

Fantastic mellyonion - You are obviously a inspiration to us all. I was beginning to think it wasn't possible. I have started the diet again today, to hopefully lose the half a stone I have put back on in the last three weeks. I don't want to give up, so thankyou for your advice and success story. I feel happier already.
P.S. Thankyou to everyone else - You have also helped as at least I know I am human and not alone.

I so know how you guys feel, I've done every diet known to man, the weight comes off easily enough, but can I maintain it, no way!! My Gp sent me on a course with the psychologist, which is supposed to address the problem of binge/comfort eating..trouble is, the sessions are so few and far between I cant remember what we were even talking about lol..I'm seriously considering WW again, I see it as a kind of last chance saloon..of all the things Ive tried, its been the easiest to follow..I'm inspired by what Ive read on here, wish you all the best of luck and hope we'll be swapping our success stories soon! xx
