I have pcos and really struggling to loose the weight, I have about 2stone to loose.
First 3 weeks of dieting I lost half a stone.
Then last Friday I started going to the gym, I've been every day apart from one and I've not lost 1lb!!
I eat a max of 1200cal a day. I just don't understand I should be in a massive deficit.

Weight loss isn't linear, this is why you have to see it as a journey and some weeks you lose and some weeks you don't.

There is a lot more to it than calories in and calories out. Your body adjusts to having fewer calories by using up fewer.

Losing half a stone is a brilliant achievement so is maintaining your weight.

There is a specific pcos diet. I personally haven’t followed it as I follow high protein.

Personally I don’t find 1200 calories sustainable and would look to increase by a little for a happier and more long term plan.

It's pretty common not to lose (or to even gain) weight when you start a new exercise program. Stick with it and the scales will start moving again.

The only thing that worked for me, with pcos, was v low carb while also doing intermittent fasting. Good luck
