Good evening all!

I am early 30s, I weigh 17”8 and my BMI is 39. I am obese and so unhappy with how I look. I also know I am very unhealthy.

I did WW a long time ago and lost over 4 stone. Of course I put it all back on, and about another 4 stone on top of that as well. I need to lose around 6-7 stone.

I’ve tried recently to do the fast 800 diet and it was awful. It was too restrictive, I felt sick and I just thought, I can’t go from eating whatever I want to eating 800 calories. I was having nearly 800 calories for my breakfast before (latte and pan au raisin/pan au chocolat).

Anyway, my mum is currently doing SW and says it is much more sustainable. So that’s what I’ll be doing, I am signing up tonight.

Has anyone on here lost a significant amount of weight with SW? Any good tips / tricks etc?

Just follow the plan. I know that sounds obvious but the plan is pretty obvious. Lots of veg and fruit, lean meat, dairy products. Get lots of variety into your diet, use the recipe books and the magazine and cook from scratch. Use your syns for extras like ketchup/mayo or for a treat.

someone will come on and say it’s a cult and 90% if people end up with an eating disorder so brace yourself 🤣
