A few practical questions about starting Wegovy for those who have already been there

I am about to start this and have read/been warned about the side effects. Can anyone who got side effects tell me how bad/sudden they were? Without putting to put too fine a point on it I am wondering about how this works at work - my worst nightmare is finding myself in the office with sudden onset diarrhoea!! Were you okay to go to work as normal when you first started taking it? Any other practical pointers/tips/things to think about very welcome 😀

I had no side effects at all!

I also have no side effects. 6 weeks in.

I would say to make sure you are drinking plenty. You’ll spend the first week weeing for England though 😂

dont eat greasy or fatty foods. Even if you feel hungry at the end of the week (ie, cos the jab is wearing off) , don’t eat a big
meal all at once

I felt mildly nauseous for the first few weeks from when I woke up till about 2pm, but it didn't stop me from doing anything. Also if you drink alcohol it can make headaches worse even if you only have one beer etc

I was a little nauseous but it went away and didn't impact my day to day. Drink lots of water, maybe avoid anything really spicy or things with lots of sugar.

Thanks All - that's a relief!!
