Hi everyone. Sorry have been awol again.
Darned rl! getting in the way of my mning!

Just skimmed through so sorry if I've missed anything important.

Lisa - Well done! What an achievement! and in this heat too. You must be really proud.

Katy - So sorry you've hit this point. It's such a shame as it seems like this could be fixed but dh doesn't seem to want to put any effort in. Do you two still love each other? If not, then its probably time to move on.
Have you had a talk since you got back?
[ever hopeful romantic emoticon]

Well, I've been to stay with my sister for a few days. She's pregnant and I'm bfing so, unfortunately, we needed no encouragement to stuff our faces at every given opprtunity!

I really want to go to my weigh in this morning (they'll tell me I've put on 1 or 2 lbs on and will be a kick up the arse) but I'm so tired due to 2 sleepless nights. Ds2 is asleep and I really don't want to wake him as I'm enjoying the rest too!
I'm rubbish, aren't I?

Mine · 12/05/2008 10:03

katy its natural to mourn a long relationship, but sometimes we miss the 'old' person we fell in love with not what they have become.
No one here knows enough about your relationship/marriage better than you so its hard to say you have done the right thing, although it sounds like you have done what is best for everyone, esp the dc.
You will be fine.
Like Jahan said, if you still love each other maybe in time things will change and he will earn to appreciate you and the dc more.
Keep smiling, things will get better my lovely.

You have us if you need shoulders to lean on when the going gets tough!!!!!
Big hugs to you xxxx

Jahan · 12/05/2008 13:25

Sorry Katy, I've just read back a bit more closely and realised whats happened.
So sorry.
Grieving will take time and I don't think anything anyone else says makes a difference.
Just take strength in the fact that you know you made the right decision for your family.
And look after yourself. Make sure you eat properly. xx.

fatkatyslim · 12/05/2008 17:31

i can't do this

fatkatyslim · 12/05/2008 20:01

sorry polly.i had a big wobble
i feel like i've lost my best friend

OP posts:
LoveMyGirls · 12/05/2008 20:42

Would it help if you write a list of things that annoyed you when he was there?

Remind yourself of the reasons you need to do this that might help?

Are your family being supportive?

fatkatyslim · 12/05/2008 21:12

my family all know what he is like they've heard it all before.
i'm just feeling a bit in limbo

anyway enough about me miss skinny minny.how's your day been?

OP posts:
pollywobbledoodle · 12/05/2008 21:19

it's not surprising that you will have wobbles...who wouldn't after 5 years of a life together....perhaps you need to hold in mind that he used to be your best friend but he hasn't behaved like that for a good while....maybe i'm only getting part of the picture but his attitude to the kids sounds unforgiveable....

fwiw i think you are right not to go on the pull(other than virtually) until your head is more settled....

ps you don't always have to be our strong leader on here....someone else can shake the pompoms for a bit....

pollywobbledoodle · 12/05/2008 21:24

oh yes food, nearly forgot
brekkie fruit and fibre
lunch egg salad sarnie
eve pasta and veggie sauce and fruit
oh and a handful of pink valentines smarties(bought by MIL in sale)

got the builders in and am having to do a lot of clearing out and up...

LoveMyGirls · 12/05/2008 21:33

I've been swimming, did 30 lengths.

I've eaten

orange, grapes
light philli and 2 ryvita and tomato
low fat yogurt x2
jacket pot philli & chilli and salad#
1 malt biscuit
1 ww bar.

fatkatyslim · 12/05/2008 21:33

bugger food.i knew i'd forgotten something
his attitude to the kids is shit
they deserve to be happy

OP posts:
pollywobbledoodle · 12/05/2008 21:43

you're right, they do!

anyway, get a curry or something inside yourself...followed by an ice cream...drs orders!

sorry i had to leave the party, i was enjoying myself...always the way once you have kids isn't it? DD better now, thankfully....only prob is she now wants a swimming pool in our garden...it just isn't going to happen!
