Finally managed to lose 2 stone. My jeggings are baggy and look massive, size 20 Just bought a size 18 and tried them up. Can't get them past my thighs. Wtf ? Same brand , same jeggings. Just feel like what's the point. 2 stone down and can't even drop a dress size

Did you take measurement of your thighs before you started your weight loss journey?
It could be something as simple as them being mislabelled at the factory or the brand now skimping on fabric.
The scales are showing you 2 stone down -that’s AMAZING don’t let a label on a pair of leggings take away your sense of achievement. You’ve done brilliantly. Flowers

Not done recently. The ones on my renpho app are from October and then February. Will need to look the tape measure out. I've went down a back size in my bra which is good. Just thought logically if my trousers were too big, the next size down would fit me 🤷‍♀️.

Checked screenshots and only a couple centimeters. Should really get updated measurements

If you've lost two stone ,you've lost two stone, what does it matter what the label says? Even shoes are bonkers sizes, I'm anything from a 6-8 ! Just try them on and if they fit them great, if they don't then get a bigger size.

ringoffiire · 17/04/2024 11:27

Oh well then, you might as well give up and put the weight all back on if you can't get the shops to agree that you've lost it.

(/sarcasm).

You've lost two stone. Stop it.

You are doing great.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 17/04/2024 11:28

Interestingly dh bought 2 pairs of trousers from M and S and one pair was 2 inches shorter despite the label being the same. He wasn't upset,he was pissed off they weren't labeled correctly. Be more like dh 😉

When I lost weight it took me ages to go down a size, it wasn't until I'd lost over 2.5 stone. I then assumed I must have been right at the top end of fitting into size 18's. Dont get disheartened OP.

ManchesterLu · 17/04/2024 11:47

Clothes sizes are ridiculous. I can get into size 14s in places, and size 20 in others. Don't pay attention to them whatsoever. Instead, go off measurements, how you look, and how you feel. You're doing a great thing and you've done SO well.

You’ve done amazingly. I’m on my WL (again) journey and I’m 172cm and 18 and a half stone. Hoping to get gastric sleeve if I don’t manage to make a dent this time round.

I have skinny legs so the legs always fit it’s just my belly and boobs.

Keep going you will get there I know how disheartening it is and how easy it is to put back all the weight don’t let a pair of begging bring you down.

Realist2022 · 17/04/2024 12:50

I have lost just under 3 stone and only just gone down to the size below in jeans. I think I had stretched the size up and actually if I'd bought new would have been the size above that (if you see what I mean). I tried on the size down weekly and just kept on. You've done brilliantly, keep going!

Hundredthmillionthdiet · 20/04/2024 10:07

Finally found my tape measure and measured the jeggings. Think I have bought a mis-labelled pair .

Have attached picture of offending jeggings and asda size chart for reference.

Also did a few measurements myself. Not lost much on my hips but lost 5cmnon thighs and calfs. Just can't get it to record on my renpho .
