Can I lose a stone in 10 weeks?

I’m going on holiday with my husband and I need to shift a stone to be at pre baby weight and at a healthy BMI, ideally more. Is this possible?!

Very doable. Reduce portion sizes, cut out treats and high calorie foods, you’ll be there in no time.

I have lost just over a stone in 9 weeks. Reduce sugar and fat intake, especially biscuits, cake and ice cream. Replace with low fat/low sugar yoghurt. I’m eating lots of fruit and veg, salads, fish and chicken. Poached eggs, grilled bacon, nothing fried. Cut out wine, have a g&t (slimline) instead.

Yes it should be - assuming you really have a stone to loose. Weight loss tends to slow down the less overweight you are.

I’ve lost 12lbs in six weeks and hoping to be on track to lose a stone in 7. Definitely doable .

Well done! How did you do it?

Well I've managed 8lbs this week alone so entirely doable (I do have 3 stone to lose though!)

Calorie deficit so I eat around 1500 cals per day and I burn 2500 a day with normal life, and 2-3 hours of exercise/movement.

BIWI · 23/03/2024 22:36

It depends how much you weigh now/how much you have to lose! (As well as how strict you are)

CaterhamReconstituted · 23/03/2024 22:37

Absolutely achievable and realistic

Leedsgirl1984 · 24/02/2025 09:29

I use health products and weight loss supplements which have helped me lose 4 stone in 6 months fat burners and plenty of water 😍

OldieButBaddie · 24/02/2025 09:31

Easily doable. Count calories! It literally doesn't matter what you eat, but you will want to eat more healthy stuff as it will fill you up. Don't try and do madly low calories though as this is counterproductive, you don't want to be hungry. Eat lots of veg/salad with meals to fill you up

Candleabra · 24/02/2025 09:33

I’d say difficult if you pre baby weight is your absolute lowest weight

As the OP started this thread almost a year ago, I'm hoping she's lost those pounds now!

I used fat burning shots from farmasi and apple cider vinegar gummies 😍 4 stone down now and back to pre baby weight
