Why is the mirror so cruel

No real reason for this post other than to vent 😭 I bought some new dresses for my holiday and thought when I looked in the mirror that they looked not to bad, Then I asked my dh to take some pictures to see what they actually look like and oh my I looked huge 😭😭 back to the shop they go 😢

Awww it’s not the mirror lying it’s the camera. Different poses on photos can put on or take off pounds. I’m sure you look great in real life, don’t feel bad about yourself.

Just remember, we're always our biggest critics and we always see the worst bits that nobody else sees!

Mirrors are the right ones. Cameras re JERKS. And don't get me started on videos or even worse - those security cameras as you walk into shops.

They're letting you know that you're under surveillance so don't event think about not paying, and whilst we're at it make you look like a haggard old lady - which I am but don't want to be reminded of that when going about my daily activities

I had the misfortune to see these for the first time in Morrisons the other week (my local Tesco doesn’t have them) omg! I looked so haggard. I’m only bloody 50 fgs 😭

No wonder there is an epidemic of shoplifting as there is no way we are recognisable in real life from the images captured by the checkout cameras. Security are all searching for our evil great grandmothers.
