Does breastfeeding really affect weight loss this much?

I'm still breastfeeding my 2-year-old twice a day. He's recently stopped night feeding.

I'm trying to lose weight. My happy weight is around 69kg, I currently vary between 80 - 82kg. I've been calorie counting for months. My husband eats the same as me and has lost 8kg, I've lost nothing.

I've been taken out by a stomach virus this week, and didn't managed to keep anything down between Friday night and yesterday... still weigh 79.75kg.

I talked to the doctor two weeks ago, who suggested IF between 7pm - 11am, which I've been doing - but again; nothing to show for it, really.

I do need to exercise, and I'm working on how I fit that in between the toddler and a pretty full on job, but surely something should be working...
