Semiglutide

Hello
im thinking of trying semiglutide. Ive tried all diets and always fail. I’ve had a really hard time over the last few years in my personal life (massive life changing stressful situations) and am constantly under some sort of stress which in turn kicks off my emotional eating.
I’ve made my mind up that want to try this, the only factor is the cost. Does anyone on here recommend the best place to purchase cost wise?

I know I could get this eventually on nhs but it’s months of trying all the things I’ve done before I’ll maybe get it.

Have a look at the Ozempic/Wegovy and Mounjaro threads.

It seems Bolt pharmacy is the best value for Mounjaro at the moment. Although this is tirzepatide not semaglutide.

I would strongly recommend seeking help for your stress and what you have been through as there is zero support for this whilst taking this medication. The meds alone do not address or fix these things but they can give you some headspace so I very much advocate using the opportunity to seek other help during your journey. The risk is you could spend a lot of money on this, if you never address the underlying issues and it either doesn’t work for you (not everyone responds the same way) or you can find losing weight doesn’t solve the issues that contributed to emotional eating and be back at square 1. The meds are a tool to lose weight but it can be a bumpy ride so make sure you look after your mental health

I am an emotional binge eater and ozempic did not fix this for me. It just gave me a break from it.
