It could be anything, but please share any tips or realisations about small issues you've had that have helped. It all adds up!

Mine is something I only just realised, which is that the pre-sliced cheese slices are really helpful because you know exactly how many calories are in them and there's no guesstimate involved (which- let's face it- is often an underestimate of the portion you've had).

Grate cheese and weigh it . Grill as much as you can . Trim fat off everything . Go down to skimmed milk . Cut down on sugar as much as possible . Google crustless quiche .

Mine is resistant starches - they are great for gut health and have low GI, but are kind of difficult to incorporate into daily meals without extra prep. What I do is cook potatoes a day before, store them in the fridge overnight and then use them next day for dinner, either with greek yogurt (as potato salad) or when we eat salade nicoise for dinner. Easy.

I sometimes also cook other root vegetables, usually swede, which I also keep in the fridge and then eat a few slices with lunch. It can be stored in the fridge for about 4-5 days and easily covers the the resistant starch intake.
