Moving up in Wegovy dosage.

If you didn't see feel much difference in your appetite on the lower dosages of Wegovy, did the results massively kick in later?

On 0.25mg apart from a few of the unpleasant side effects, I felt no different and lost no weight.

On 0.50mg ditto.

I'm now into my second dose of the 1mg and while the side effects seem to be calming down I am still not noticing much difference in my desire to eat and have lost barely any weight to speak of.

Do people with a really high BMI see more immediate success than those who need to lose much less? Or is it the other way around?

I managed to lose 1.5 stone by myself last year, but then (as always) it plateaued and started to go backwards. I decided enough was enough to opted for Wegovy.

From where I am now, I need to another lose 2.5 to 3 stone. I've barely budged in 6-8 weeks and I am getting really despondent. Does it just not work some people?

How’re you getting on? I feel the same and not sure if I should bother trying with 1.7. I did 8 weeks of 1 mg and should start 1.7 this week but don’t feel like I lost more than a 1 lb or so on the 1mg

I've just finished my first week of 1.7. Most days under 1,000 calories and I weighed in this morning+ 0.4 pounds :(

I have just used my last 1 mg and I added 0.50 mg that I had left over from last time, because I moved up a dose after 3 weeks. I do find I am eating smaller meals and can't always finish what's on my plate. However I am not yet feeling sufficiently 'unhungry' to want to avoid certain foods altogether, so my calorie intake is probably still quite high and not at the level where the weight is going to come off me terribly quickly.

It's moving, but slowly. I could do better by low carbing om my own, I think. I think I am going to try a version of low carbing but without the focus on making sure I eat enough fat. I won't necessarily get into ketosis, which is what triggers the burning of stored body fat, but hopefully just not eating bread, potatoes, rice and very carby fruits etc, might help me along a bit and will certainly reduce the calorie intake.

I know I am going to have to push through a 'pain barrier' and exercise some self control in the face of temptation to do that though, so it's a bit annoying as I can (at a push!) manage that without anyway without paying for the Wegovy on top.

Hopefully the Wegovy will just make it a bit easier than it usually is to resist bread etc. Let's see.

I'll be starting on my first 1.7 mg on Friday.
