Can I use mounjaro with mental health challenges?

I’d like to try mounjaro, but I take an antidepressant (30mg) for anxiety and depression. Does anyone know if I’d still be able to have it prescribed? My BMI is 38. Thanks.

If you do the online pharmacy assessments they will tell you specifically but they gave it to me and I am on sertraline

Hey! I’m on mounjaro week 2 (almost week 3) and am on antidepressants. I’ve not noticed any negative side effects in relation to my existing medication and my mood honestly hasn’t been as good in years. I wonder if it’s because the mounjaro takes away the ‘food noise’ so I usually think about having something to eat then get myself down and depressed after due to the way I look. I’ve made so much better choices and am down 9lbs in almost 3 weeks.

the main reason I actually went on this was because my weight contributes massively towards my mental health and I was in such a vicious cycle. Felt rubbish > ate > felt fat > felt rubbish > ate. Throw wine into the mix and it was just a disaster! So far this seems like I have a small light at the end of the tunnel and I never thought I’d lose 1lb never mind cooking lovely food and exercising.
