Has anyone managed to lose weight just by cutting out takeaways?

That’s too much of a broad question. I mean is it daily or weekly? What kind of food? No one can answer this. Obviously takeaways are usually very calorific so you can cut them out but there is no point basing weight loss on this one thing if you are still consuming too many calories every single day.

Weight loss is a long term lifestyle change and mindset shift, not a temporary state of restricting particular foods to lose weight then resuming them again. I’m nearly at my goal and I still won’t be able to eat the takeaways I used to otherwise I will gain it back.
