6 weeks to lose as much as possible

I have 6 weeks to lose as much as possible and hopefully see a difference in this Time.

What have people done to lose weight than has worked for them? What diets? What exercise?

I'm unfortunately one of those people that need to see results fast or I give up. I know slow and steady is better but I really suffer with being overweight and really want a good kick start as due to some.mental health issues I feel like because I want to lose weight I don't deserve to 😔

The fast 800 would be a great place to start! Have a look at the online resources and consider getting the book.

It’s very hard to be stuck in this mindset but I can only try to explain to you why you need to at least try to look at this differently.

You are not going to lose all the weight you need to in 6 weeks. You can lose some weight though. You need to be realistic about what you can do and that it is something that you will need to stick to for it to work long term. You are not a failure or undeserving to want to be healthier or weigh less and if you don’t lose weight this isn’t a reflection of you as a person. Your body isn’t your brain or personality, and the only person your body matters to is you, no one else.

If you have MH issues then I am not sure a low calorie diet would work for you as it is hard work mentally.

We have all felt this way that we want the end result very quickly and which is why many people end up stuck in the cycle because unless you are fully ready to change your whole lifestyle you will just lose/gain/lose/gain and feel worse about yourself,

All you literally need to do is eat a little bit less every single day. There is not that much effort involved in that but you would see a big difference over a longer period of time without it affecting your life significantly every day. You could work out what you are eating now and eat 200 calories less for 2 weeks. Then 300 calories less. Then 400. You could work out how many calories you should eat for your height and weight and try to eat slightly less than that.

You do deserve and are worthy of being happy. Food (excess food, binging) might make you happy in the short term but it’s not the friend you wish it was, as it just causes more problems down the line

Maybe talk to your doctor for some support?

Drink absolutely loads of water and eat an apple every day (not just an apple btw!)

I cycle to work instead of driving. Granted this isn't really an option for people who live more than 4 miles away. Zero traffic too!

Fast 800 and gym 5 days a week, I lost 18 pounds in 6 weeks this time last year.
3 stone in 3 1/2 months in total.

Unfortunately slipped a bit over winter and am back doing the same again this year, although a lot less to lose.

60 mins cardio and 30 minutes weights 5 times a week. But calories in calories out is the main thing.
