I am nearly three stone down from my highest weight of 21st 7lbs (that's the last weight the Doctor has on record and also from weighing myself last summer (June '23) before my scales stopped working.
I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes in December and my Nurse weighed me and it was 19st 6lbs. I didn't notice the weight loss and it was probably due to the undiagnosed diabetes as I certainly was eating the same type of diet up until December.
I started calorie counting in January and have managed to lose 12lbs so far. I now weigh 18st 8lbs.
I am still wearing the same clothes as I was at my biggest. Apart from my jeggings being slightly looser in the thigh and butt area there's no other noticeable difference. My tops fit the same and my belly is still huge. Also my family (see them 2-3 times a month) haven't noticed anything. They would say (in a positive, encouraging way) if I was smaller or looked like I'd lost weight.
I know that I am in this for the long haul and maybe it is because I am still so large that I need to lose another couple of stone before a difference can be seen. But I am just disappointed I guess.
Bought a tape measure this week so maybe I will see some difference in measurements in a few weeks (if I keep losing!).
