Divorce glow up thread

Hi ladies,

I thought I'd start a thread for anyone going through a break up or divorce who's struggling with weight gain or has fallen into bad eating habits so we can motivate eachother to get fit and healthy.

I'm not overweight but I'm not far off (I've gained a stone and half in only a few weeks due to binge eating chocolate) and I feel absolutely awful. My skin's a mess and I'm covered in cellulite.

I didn't feel particularly body confident anyway after having kids but it's now worse as my serial cheat of an ex husband left for his very young coworker.

People tell me I'm very attractive but without clothes on I think I look a mess - it's embarrassing. I've decided to post my goals on here in order to keep myself accountable and to get some advice about how to stop stress binge eating.

Here's my plan:

  • To completely cut out refined sugar as I'm extremely addicted to it and it makes me feel terrible
  • To cut out dairy (my body hates it)
  • To eat slowly
  • Low carb
  • To eat lots of fruit and veg and drink more water
  • To exercise 25 mins x 4 days a week

What are your health/fitness/lifestyle goals?
