Started SW 2 weeks ago. Lost 2lb in my first week and 1lb in my second. I am sticking to the plan but I am surprised about the slow loss.

I have done WW in the past and lost the weight much quicker. Is this normal? I don't have a problem if it is.

At this rate I should be at target by the end of June beginning of July which is fine.

Just wondered what everyone's experience is.

I've been doing SW since september and have lost almost 2 stone. It is a slow and steady thing for me as I make full use of my healthy extras and syns. You can speed things up by only having 3 he a day and 5 syns rather than 15.

IMO it's better to go slow and steady as it takes time to re learn a healthy eating pattern. If you lose it too quick it's much harder to maintain at target (as seen by many people who do lighter life and cambridge)

Tuesday McDreamy. I've eaten so much fruit and veg this week I feel a bit like the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Am hoping for a smilar metamorphis, maybe not by Tues though. I feel quite virtous though. When's your weigh day?

Ah well you can hop back on the SW bandwagon again tomorrow. I agree with Nikkid it can work as a long term habit changing process so let yourself have the odd blip otherwise it turns into a kind of test of self control. You've got to enjoy life too. Am going out for dinner next week, am really looking forward to it as have not managed to get out in the evening for a while, want to enjoy it without feeling guilty afterwards. Am going to take the long term view.
