I'm obviously missing something?! Calorie counting, had egg noodles for dinner. This is the packaging. Package was 250g.

How can 1/4 pack be 319 kCal, so 62.5g, but 100g is 179kCal. Clearly being dense! Make it make sense please 🥺

Can someone explain this please?

Is the per 100g the cooked weight?

AbucktoothedgirlfromLuxembourg · 04/02/2024 00:02

Agree, I think 100g is the cooked weight and 1/4 packet is referring to the noodles dry. A dry quantity of noodles will at least double in weight when cooked. It’s really poorly presented information on the packet.

Thank you.

That makes sense. I'll be forced to weigh the 1/4 pack next time just to check the weight. Packaging information should be more straightforward and state that on the packet!
