Has anyone had success with Noom?

Just signed up for the two week free Noom trial.

I'm completely at the end of my tether with my weight gain over the last ten years. Every time i have had any success with weight loss I have been unable to maintain it long term and have ended up gaining even more weight afterwards.

I'm really hoping this psychological approach will help me lose weight and maintain it permanently. Would love to hear any success stories as i don't know anyone in real life who has tried this. Thank you!

My beautiful hairdresser has, she was lovely anyway tbf, but lost a LOT of weight with Noom and has kept it off. She looks and feels fab.

Amazing - thats so good to hear as i am more than a little sceptical but trying to be postive!
The app seems to think i can lose 2 stone in just over 3 months which feels insane to me? But maybe i need to just throw myself into it and hope for the best!

I’m doing a trial and finding it a bit like nutracheck but with less reliable built in items in their inventory.

the trajectory for weight loss is quite motivating but I could screen shot it and refer back to it.

the lessons aren’t really anything earth shattering. I know what I should be eating.

It’s quite expensive for what it it is. I am leaning towards cancelling and carrying on with nutracheck.

I’m trying to make sustainable changes to my diet and hopefully lose the weight and keep it off. I get caught up in things which whilst the intention is good (obesity code, fast800) are not a longer term solution that works in my day to day.

I used it last year, to lose 5 stone. I ate a bit less than the calories it would have allowed me (I didn't eat any exercise cals), but it was really good for tracking what I ate and giving me psychological insight into why I made food choices. I loved the feature that told me when I could expect to meet my goal, it was v motivating (esp. as I had a lot to lose). I also found the weight loss graph helpful. When the scales wouldn't move, I could see other times that that had happened and know that it was a natural phase.
