When actually is the best time to weigh yourself?

I have always believed you weighed in first thing the morning after a wee.

recently I thought my scales were broken and for a few days I have been experimenting on them by weighing at night and then first thing in the AM. I am always heavier in the morning than evening

so I went and got some new Salter scales that claim to be super accurate and in the instruction book it says weigh yourself early evening, before your evening meal? 👀

Is this just typical conflicting opinion and there is no ideal time?

I fast every day so weight before a break the fast, around 1pm (before I leave to go to work) I'm always lighter then.

It doesn't matter. Just pick a time and stick to it.

Usually 1st thing in morning, before breakfast and.after a poo

Krustykrabpizza · 12/01/2024 19:08

I always do it first thing in the morning, my weight literally goes up 1-2kg after I eat

Cakeandslippers · 12/01/2024 19:09

It doesn't matter, just do it at the same time of day every time.

I just weigh same time every time - between 9am and 10am before I jump in the shower ( depends on what time Im starting work )

Thursday, just before dinner.

I do it first thing.

I drink so much water and herbal tea through the day, I pee all evening as it is and I am always 2-3lb heavier in the evening due to the liquid I have taken in.
