Wegovy - 0.25 and don't feel different?!

Hi there

Just hoping to find some shared experiences as worrying I'm paying A LOT of money for something that isn't working for me.

I'm on my 4th week of 0.25, and honestly can't say I've noticed much difference. Food noise has gone ever so slightly, however I'm still hungry for my meals and can eat the same portions as before. Still fancy snacking after tea as well.

I know it's only the first dose, but I read so much on here about people losing a vast amount of weight on 0.25. I will probably only have lost about 2/3 pounds in my first month!

Will I start noticing a bigger impact as I go up the doses, or does the fact I'm barely responding to 0.25 signal I might not be a responder to Wegovy?

Hi there, worth checking in to some of the longer running threads on both Wegovy and Ozempic on this. It seems anecdotally that initial response is very variable. Both in terms of weight loss/appetite reduction and side effects such as nausea/gastric issues/other. So some people see almost immediate effects on the low doses, others don't.
What's most common is a recognition that this is not a medication that "melts away fat" but that makes it much, much less effort day by day to follow a controlled-calorie diet that leads to sustained weight loss over a period of time.

2/3 lb is decent weight loss. Wegovy isn't an overnight magic drug, weight loss will be fairly slow. 0.25 is only a starter dose and not going to make a huge difference. You need to be in it for 6 months minimum really.
