Hi!

Have any of you had counselling for weightloss?

Has it helped?

I know what to eat, I know it's diet not exercise, I know I need to be active yet I am almost 100 kgs and miserable.

I think perhaps if you let mood affects your eating habits it is worth a try.

Sorry that came out as gobbledygook. If your mood affects your eating habits I would try it.

If it's binge eating then CBT would likely help. You can get a referral from your GP, but I imagine the waiting lists are quite long at the moment I'm afraid

I've no idea about it personally, however if it is free or affordable to try it then what have you got to lose? You're not happy, and even if it didn't help then you can try to get some comfort from the fact you've tried something new
