Saxenda side effects - any better with Wegovy?

I tried Saxenda this year stopped after a couple of weeks because the nausea was so bad. I’m wondering if it’s worth trying Wegovy or if will it just be the same as I think they are similar drugs right? Anyone not get on well with Saxenda but ok with Wegovy?

I had opposite. Got on very well with saxenda, nausea with wegovy. I’d not have bothered switching if it hadn’t been for saxenda supply issues. I persevere with wegovy though as it’s been absolutely effective for me at the right dose and weight is coming off nicely.

Oh that’s annoying @BotherThat. Hope you can get hold of saxenda again soon, but glad that you’re still seeing progress. I might give it a try.

I'm on Wegovy and the only side effect I have is constipation and associated bloating

Wegovy 1mg severe nerve pain.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Two days after my first 1mg injection, I have severe nerve pain around my hips, inner thighs and lower back. Definitely not muscular and very very sore to even touch the skin. Life has been utterly miserable for the last week. Cannot think it could be anything else.
No other side effects; managed to lose 1 stone so far.
Any advice?
