Hi I am massively overweight and need advice on the above. I see so many advertisements for the best things but want advice from people who have achieved weight loss (I need to lose about 10 stone Blush).
There is so much choice for methods, collagen and supplements and exercise that I am overwhelmed.
Please help 😂

You don’t need to spend a lot of money on these things, you can try things online like diet plans or food advice for free. You can eat more collagen in your diet without paying an insane prices for capsules. I’m not sure it’s going to really help with weight loss but might be good for your joints?
The NHS has a free app for diet, food and exercise you could check out as a starting point?

Supplements/pills etc. that are advertised online are a con, it's as simple as that. If losing weight was as easy as taking a supplement, everyone would be doing it. Either they do nothing, or they are unlicensed, dangerous products.

The only way is to find a diet and exercise plan that you can stick to; as pp said, plenty available for free.

You could also talk to your GP, if there is a licensed weight-loss medication that is suitable for you, they might be able to prescribe this - but even licensed products are not a quick fix and require lifestyle changes to be effective.

Honestly are you getting 8000 steps in a day minimum, eating enough protein, eating in a calorie range which is a deficit for you, getting enough sleep? Eating fruit and veg, drinking enough water, doing some element of resistance training? If you're not ticking all those boxes then please please stop looking for supplements to help. You've got to get the basics nailed first.

I bought MyProtein collagen as I don't eat breakfast and it's good to add to my morning coffee. 15g protein and my nails and skin are super healthy since a few months after starting.
Its the same stuff as Vital Protein but way cheaper.
