Control knickers for a smooth silhouette

I've had a look in past chats but can't find what I'm looking for. I hope this is the right place.

I'm after some comfortable control underwear, if any such thing exists.

I've looked on John Lewis and any on there have less than desirable reviews.

I am a size 10 and I have a loose tummy I can grab, from three pregnancies and weight gain then loss throughout my life. I am getting married in a few weeks and wearing a slinky dress. Id like some control underwear to give me a smooth silhouette.

I like the idea of the ones that start under boobs and end at knees, but can't imagine that's comfortable?

I think I'd be best suited to the high waist thing type, does anyone have any tried and tested they can recommend, or advise to avoid. Thank you all!

I'd order a few different types and try them. The under boob ones have always rolled down on me.

I have a high waisted Spanx thong that does the job, but if I'm sitting too long I end up bloated as it seems to constrict everything in my guts. It's good for events where I'm standing and moving about though, so a firm one like this might be a good for a wedding.

I'm around a 10 and I like Spanx for smoothing, I've got the high waisted shorts which are good, however at this time of year I tend to wear control top tights. I also have Spanx high waisted tights for very unforgiving dresses.

I wore a Spanx slip under my wedding dress but can’t see anything on their website now. A shame because it is really comfortable and smoothing. It’s on Amazon though

If I order multiple I won't be able to return will I? As classed as underwear surely? Thank you for the recommendations I'll look into these now
