Post breakup weight loss

On Saturday I broke up with my dp of 2 and a half years. I am devastated but have decided to turn it into a positive and use it as a push to focus on me. So I am focussing on losing weight and feeling better about myself. Low self-esteem definitely impacted our relationship.
I'm back to following team RH, swimming and training for a half marathon. I thought I would post here in case anyone wanted to join me but also for accountability.
I'm 5'5" and weigh 181 pounds and want to be between 147 and 154 so a long way to go. Yesterday was day 1 and I stuck to the eating plan, walked over 11,000 steps and swam 40 lengths...I'm ready for day 2!

Well done op, sorry about the break up these things can be very hard. Sounds like you absolutely smashed it yesterday!

Day 2 complete, stuck to 1700 calories, only managed 8000 steps but I did my weighted hoop for 20 minutes. I had a better night's sleep after swimming yesterday so I'm going to swim on Friday ...I keep going through the breakup again and again and it is keeping me awake.

As of today I am 2.5 pounds down and have swum 3 times... Just need to stay focussed

So I haven't posted for a little while ..but this morning I got on the scales and I weigh 176 pounds, which is the lightest I have been since July 😄 My progress isn't rapid but it seems to be steady which is positive. I am running with an old friend on Sunday and really looking forward to it
