Can I save calories for a Sunday

Super new to calorie counting so asking those who do calorie count & aim for weight loss

Can I save calories throughout the week and eat them on a Sunday if I fancied?

I started calorie counting on Monday and have stuck to it but unintentionally ate under my goal of 1500 on most days (see below for how much I ate Monday through Saturday)

Monday - 1,363
Tuesday - 1,196
Wednesday - 1,500
Thursday - 1,264
Friday - 1,495
Saturday - 1,233

Realistically today could I eat around 1700? Or would it ruin my progress?

Does anyone else do this?

Interested to know

Yes you can, so long as you aren't cutting your calories too low on your lower days and not sticking to them. It's sometimes called 'calorie cycling '.

In the Nutricheck app you can set your calories so you have higher and lower

Never done the calorie count thing. But what has worked for me for the past 18 months is to put less on my plate. I never felt hungry so I was obviously over-eating!! Lost nearly two and half stone over 16 months so far.
But hopefully someone can answer your question for you and good luck with the weight loss. Slowly but surely and permanently is the way to go.

I did weekly cal. That means I can have less one day, more another. No, calorie cycling will not ruin your progress.

Yes, once you stay on calorie deficit overall, you will loose weight.
