Ozempic/Wegovy: what's the latest on supply? Boots/Superdrug

Hey,

I started in June. I've lost 2.5 stone and am now just "overweight" rather than obese. I'm 40 and believe you me have tried everything over the years, often getting down to 9-10 stone but eventually always getting back up to 15 stone.

I'm ordering from RightAngled and no issues.

But does anyone know the latest on when places like Boots/Superdrug will be supplying? Will they continue to supply it for maintenance when I get to a healthy weight?

Oh and do they make you start on 0.25mg? Or can I start on 1.7 or 2.4mg say if I can provide proof that I'm already on it?

I kept trying boots really because I hate the drama of trying to be in to take the delivery when you order through the others. But/ they are not taking new patients only those who were already getting weight loss drugs from them.
The Boots nurse emailed to say keep trying so that's what I think we will have to do.

I got my 1.7 from Asda last week, they asked if I'd been using it and how long etc but went through ok (had to send pics but that's behind the norm)

Hi are you ordering it purely for weight loss ? If you are is it easy enough to get and take? I’ve heard about it but don’t know enough.

I'd be interested in this too. Also do they tell your gp? If so do they get in contact with you?
