Should I come back?

Back in January 2018, I joined Slimming World and loved it. I got much better at cooking, I loved the community and my self esteem increased massively. I lost about 3 and a half stone that year then in 2019 got a bit obsessive with it. I was chasing this crazy target and people told me I was becoming too thin but I didn't see it at all. While some of it was great, I do have some sad memories around the plan.

Fast forward to now, and I'm heavier than my start weight in 2018 and have a 3 year old child.

I worry so much about losing the weight and putting it all back on again. I know something needs to change, I'm 31 and my joints are hurting, I'm constantly craving junk food and feeling rubbish about myself. Should I rejoin? Do you have any advice for staying on track?

I'm thinking of rejoining... but not to follow the plan as I'm going to calorie count but use the scales and groups for accountability!

I cooked so much better when I was on slimming world! As everything was from scratch!

When you lose weight, people are always very, very quick to tell you that you are too thin now and you are losing too much weight.

Whether it's because of jealousy or just a jerk reaction to your change in appearance I honestly don't know.

I know people who've done very well on SW so good luck Smile

Thanks 😊 I rejoined online yesterday as I think I'd struggle working full time with a toddler. The resources have got so much better! There's online member talks, a meal planner, a tracker - feeling a bit more optimistic now.
