I stsrted cambridge diet this morning, with a lovely yummy banana shake.

I would love have some support along the way.

Currently 14 stone and first target is to loose 2 stone and get to 12stone.

Good Luck Ladies!

Hi mummypoppins

I started LL in mid September and I have lost 8 stone.

I lost 4.5 stone in my first 100 days and then went onto development.

Last week, I started route to management as I am only a few kils off my target.

It can be tough going but it is SO worth it.

Keep us posted and if you need any support or someone to chat to, send me a message.

caykon · 12/03/2008 21:17

things not going good. Did really well a while back for my wedding. then recently lost quite a bit but now can't seem to get my head in the right place. today was going to be a fresh start, but still ended up stuffing my face.
Maybe I will just do a few weeks of cutting back in preperation then once i've moved and settled try again

Just started LL - first week done lost 7lbs...pleased dont feel hungry but can imagine getting bored...now noticing all of the ncie cooking smells in my house - really am not tempted at moment...AZNERAK...how important is the water...? stuck with water so far find it hard work...will I still loose weight if I dont get the 4lts down me??...nothing worse than doing the week and not loosing...alos can you exercise in first 100 days?

lovecat · 10/04/2008 17:16

Hiya,

Am just about to enter week 8 of LL and I've lost 2st 1lb Good luck to all those starting on it, I have had very wobbly days when I have been starving despite being in ketosis (and despite what they say!), but have so far managed to avoid eating food (sounds weird when you put it like that!).

I'm not bored as such, I'm just completely disinterested in food, if that makes sense? - found the soups were the only thing I really liked so am sticking with them and the odd cranberry/raspberry bar. DH is doing it too and has lost 2st 3lb in week 6, he tells me he's ravenous all the time and is surviving on willpower alone (has gone from a 40" waist to a 34", so I think male vanity is powering him along!) as he can't stop obsessing about a chinese takeaway...!

Re. the water - I've noticed that when I really get into the water, then I have 3-4lb weekly losses, when I don't, it's only 1lb - but I do still lose. AF affects it too with water retention so make sure you drink more around that time of the month.

Exercise - yes, but take it easy - I find I get very dizzy afterwards if I'm not careful and of course you need to drink extra water to make up for what you've sweated off! Most of the women in our group are going to the gym (esp. now we've lost a bit!) and I do think it helps, esp. with toning stomach and bingo wings (in my case, anyway!).

What I'm dreading is having to make choices again... I didn't do so well with that beforehand!

aznerak · 21/04/2008 22:08

Sorry, I have been away!

Water is crucial. The motto we always had in our group was:

You drink to shrink

and I canc ertainly verify is its true!

How's it going?
