I am soooo starting this diet this week !!!

It makes lots of sense and won't leave me hungry AND will basically make me really healthy as well as helping me to slim right down.

Am very excited , wot a loser.

Anyone interested in joining me, for a bit of day to day support ?

Hi Theodore's mummy I will join you. I want to be a stone lighter by summer.

What really puts me off diets is that they aren't sustainable in the real world and of course the hunger. But Holford low gl seems to be OK? I've heard good things about it, but haven't read about it in a while.

I'm finding losing my baby (toddler) weight difficult as I'm working full time and cooking for the family and don't really have time to fix anything "special" for myself.

My Dh is slim and so is my DD so I'm looking for suggestions for dinner that everyone can eat and not fade away on?

Hi zazen.

DH and I are both overweight, so we are going to do it together.

We will have to adjust meals for DS, obviously, but I think it is a very healthy way to feed the family anyway.

Do you have a book on the diet ?

Hi TheodoresMummy and zazen, can I join you?

I've done low-GI before and lost most of my post-DD2 weight that way - an unexpected bonus was a really noticeable improvement in my energy levels and mood. GL is supposed to be even better and I'm hoping to lose that stubborn last half-stone this way - I keep coming close then putting it back on again.

Just bought the Holford 'made easy' book and the cookbook - think I'll need the GL Counter book too. Doing a Tesco order right now for my food for the next week or so ...
