No longer obese!

BMI now 29.7.

I'm really hoping this is going to kick start the weight loss I've wanted for a long time and I am really trying to implement healthier lifestyle choices but by bit.

for anyone wondering about this, Ive had no side effects but when eating I sometimes feel I really don't want to continue eating - that awful feeling of being cooked for and finding it disgusting but forcing it down. Obviously I don't have to force it down! And I'm choosing small options or just enjoying less.

Enjoy less! Never thought I'd say that...

It's working out at £37 a week and I'd usually eat that in crap from petrol stations, work snacks and treats.

Thank you for sharing. I’m about to start tomorrow and more than a little nervous!

Emanresu9 · 06/12/2023 12:06

@Mayhemmumma how are you getting on? I took my first dose today

C0ffeecup · 03/01/2024 09:45

How’s this going for you? I’m day 2 so far.

I'm on day 6, it's going well so far. Not too many side effects really and haven't been hungry until today.

I'm going to move my injection forward to tomorrow night rather than Saturday morning.

How are you finding it?

Day 8 and next dose of 0.25. I’ve lost 7lb but also lost my mojo to exercise 🙈 eating healthily but dry Jan went out the window at the weekend (although didn’t indulge as much as I would normally).

side effects have been minimal.

Well done for starting. It will change your life. I have been on GLP1 medication for 18 months. I’ve lost 40kg now, and have a normal BMI. I am a completely different person and I genuinely don’t recognise myself (physically, mentally and emotionally). It’s absolutely the best decision I have ever made.
