First wegovy injection- did I do it wrong?

I did my first wegovy injection today. I put the needle on, did the flow check all fine. I put the needle into my stomach and pressed and held for 6 seconds plus a bit longer. When i took the needle away, there was definitely a puncture as it bled a tiny bit, but most of the liquid seemed to be on the skin.

Did i do it wrong?

With saxenda, I was told to take a big pinch of flesh, and push the needle really well into it before pressing the button to release the fluid.

Ahh, so I did take the pinch of flesh but maybe didn’t psh the needle in far enough. It didn’t hurt at all, so now I’m pretty certain I’ve wasted my first dose. Bugger
