Does anyone use a meal planning app they could recommend please.

I need to get a grip and from previous (decades) of experience I know I need to be organised.

Seeing as it's Monday tomorrow I'm starting again.... again.

I just use the notes section on my phone and have a list of meals we have regularly. I copy and paste from a list i have to prompt me while doing online tesco order. But I'd be interested to know if there's an easier way.

If you have an online account with Sainsbury's then I recommend the Lollipop app. It has loads of recipes (e.g. from BBC Good Food) and you choose one you fancy, say how many portions you want, and it gives you a shopping list in two halves, things you're probably going to need to buy, and things you're likely already to have (e.g. oil, spices). You tick or untick each item, and there's also a "swap" feature (e.g. you might want chicken breasts instead of chicken thighs) then add it all to your Sainsbury's shopping list with one click, and onto choosing the next recipe. I've made lots of new dinners - so bored with making the same things over and over - and it's a bit like Hello Fresh or Gousto, but without all the packaging waste and plastic sachets of things I didn't need because I already have honey, soy sauce etc in my house. After that, you can add whatever else you need to your Sainsbury's order e.g. washing up liquid.

Highly recommend Nutricheck calorie counter app.

From a calorie counting deficit yo-yo dieter 😂

Nutracheck is absolutely brilliant, so easy and good value for money.
