Anyone like to join?

I'm planning on some sort of movement every day.
Yoga, c25k, swimming, walking, some weights etc.

I might gradually move my wake up time to 5am and join the 5am club, although that early might not be necessary.

No UPF, takeaways, junk etc unless I go out for an occasion. I have a wedding this Saturday, for example.

2-3 litres of water a day.

16:8, moving up to 18:6, starting with 12-8 and gradually moving my start time to 2pm.

I'll also calorie count and might do 5:2 as well.

Starting today at 14st 4lb 8oz.
I aim to get to 9st 7lb eventually.

I'm aiming for 6500 steps each day this week. Last week I did 6000 steps every day. I wfh and have a desk job so am very sedentary at the moment.

14st 1lb 4oz this morning.

I didn't do any exercise today, or yesterday, as I've had a headache for a few days.

Kept within my calories today with yoghurt, salad & soup.

13st 13lb 2oz yesterday.
13st 11lb 4oz today.

Yesterday had

Greek yoghurt, 1 tbsp chia, 10 almonds, 3 walnuts
Salad with crispy onions, salad cream, 1/2 avocado, olives
Chicken soup and a tangerine

Intend to have the same again today.

Went to a wedding on saturday and ending up eating bread and buffet junk, had a day off plan on sunday too. Got back on it on Monday and am back to 13st 12lb 0oz today. Other than those two days I've been on plan completely. Not gonna lie, I am missing a biscuit with my tea today though😫

14st 3lb 8oz this morning. Went back to an exercise class (x3 per week) this morning though so ready to be on it for the next 3 months.

Well done OP, keep going.

Just to say that I when I first started working out regularly I gained a few pounds (maybe water weight or something), so your weight might fluctuate a bit at first while you are building muscle.

Have you measured your waist and hips etc.? because you may lose inches before you lose pounds.

I don't know if I'm going to be able to continue with this particular class, I had tennis elbow in both arms, which made me give it up before. Its been about a year since I stopped going, no issues with either elbow for a while. Last night I had a slight twinge in my arm, right where it would be for tennis elbow. I'm hoping its just because I haven't done anything for a while, and not that I'll never be able to do arm weights again 😫

I will go again tomorrow and see what happens.

Could you stick to swimming for a while, it's low impact on your joints.

Im not going tomorrow, I've told the woman I can't go anymore, I will get it all checked by the gp etc first.

I'm going to a different gym tonight, one that my friend goes to. Its lower impact and a mix of classes and pilates, along with gym access. If that doesn't work out I'll go back to swimming. A lot of the classes (3 per week) I can go to are spinning and I'm not sure thats for me. I'll try it and see but I will do the early morning classes and I think my friend goes later in the day.

I went to functional circuits on Tuesday and bodypump yesterday. I'm having a day off today, but will try to do some youtube yoga or stretching tonight.

I'm back on MFP, aiaming for 1200 calories a day max, if this becomes too little due to the exercise, I'll up it, but at my height & being post meno, I think that is going to be more than enough. I don't lose on 1400, I know that, however much exercise I do.

My weight is still at 14st 2 exactly, but I do know that when I start exercsing, I dont lose scale weight, and sometimes even gain. I look a little bit better though, less flabby round the middle but thats to do with carb bloat leaving probably.

I haven't decided what I'm going to do tomorrow yet. I've got a choice of functional circuits, latin dance, body pump, trampolining or pilates. I might try latin dance and see how that goes 😂

I'm keeping up with the exercise, I went to spin this morning and am going to latin dance this evening. Had a better weekend this weekend, although not perfect. I didn't buy cakes etc although I had some carbs, but I'm not starting the week feeling like shit again.

Trying not to focus on weight on the scales and just stick to healthy habits and choices for now.
