Cold sores & huge spots one week in to new diet and exercise?

Hi
Has anyone else experienced this?
I’m on week two of eating better and actually doing some exercise. I have 5 stone to lose and would still be overweight. I’m 48.

Diet is good - protein, fat, some carbs, loads of varied veg, no refined sugar, no processed food. 2 litres water, no alcohol.
Im doing 10k steps a day and starting some cardio and weights this week too. I was inactive prior to this.

I’m really enjoying it.

Last week I got a cold sore, first one in a year.
This week another cold sore (never had two at once) and the spot of all spots on my chin. I feel like Rudolph.

Putting it down the the change in diet - is it? If so, how long should I expect this to last?!

thank you.

No idea about the cold sores but I do get spots if I don’t wash my face after sweaty exercise, so could be that?

Oh that’s a good point, thank you. I had t thought of that
the cold sores I only generally get if I’m run down and I feel better than normal!
