Right. Fuck it. I’m booking the consultation. If I was able to lose it I would have, im 38 and a nurse. I know it. Tele consult
booked with a view to VGS in the new year.

I've booked mine for October, staying in the UK though,I'm having a mini bypass.. Being so overweight has wrecked my health, diebetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure etc. I've tried every diet going, lose a bit then always put it back on and then some I'm currently 18 stone, I'm 58 and menopause weight gain didn't help. Feel like this is the last chance to get to grips with my weight problem. Good luck if you decide to go ahead.

I'm confused by the options. Mini bypass. Bypass. Balloon, bands. Why do people have irreversible options when they can have reversible ones?

Is it worth considering one of these newer drugs before surgery if you haven’t already? Ozempic etc.

I had a roux-en- y bypass 6 years ago . I’m 10 stone down and glad I did it . I’ve had no major problems and yes I have loose skin but not bothered cos I’m just grateful I can walk upstairs with feeling like I’m being asphyxiated and no longer need a new hip and knee now the extra weight has gone . Best thing I did but that’s just my own personal experience and view .
