The Curators smokey bacon puffs are a great snack with a drink, 4g carbs per pack. I'm not on a keto diet but I eat a lot of protein.

I'm not keto but in calorie deficit + high protein. I always buy turkey slices (M&S wafer thin or Tescos) and Babybel light cheeses to snack on. Also a fan of Lindahls kvarg pots (raspberry or passionfruit/mango), very filling and satisfying but might be too processed & high in carbs for you (3.5g per 100g).

I thought keto was supposed to be about clean eating? In which case, avoid anything market specifically as keto as it definitely be an UPF!

I kind of disagree with your very strict view, I think it’s 0k to have things like keto bars or pork puffs so help you stay on it.

personally I really like nicks keto bars, very low in carbs, keeps you in keto, doesn’t spike your blood sugar and lovely chocolatey taste. I think if you’re too strict then it becomes easier to fall off thr wagon.

im not sure the common view is do keto/low carb so you don’t eat upf, it’s also about blood sugar management, weight loss etc.

very few people can sustain long term on a very strict puritanical way of eating, but finding ways to adapt and make it sustainable is key.

I totally agree!

But don't let the pursuit of keto, which is strict, lead you into the territory of UPF, as they are just as bad for us as weight gain and out-of-control blood sugar.

I agree, irs about moderation. I prefer keto, as I have issues with tolerating some carbs as well as full blown lactose intolerance. But I also like chocolate. No chocolate for ever will lead me to a binge and I don’t wish to develop an eating disorder. For some folks it’s crisps is their down fall or bread.

i have a nicks protein bar most evenings, less than 200 cals and 4g net carbs. Satisfies my sweet tooth and I continue to loose weight. Someone above has the curators pork puffs as I guess crisps is their thing .

i also eat the Konjac spaghetti and rice, absolutely no smell and takes on the flavours of the sauces or meat. Effectively no carb and 8 cals a portion.

others like keto bread, less than one gram per slice of carbs, not my thing to be fair, but for some that’s what they like.

so for me, I will happily eat something that says keto on, in moderation, to supplement a low carb lifestyle .

There are so many fantastic products now on the market, that it helps make it sustainable long term for many people. And that sustainability is really important.
