I have taken the plunge today and have signed up to slimpod.
I have tried all sorts in the past but the thing that needs to change is my head and I am hoping this will be a start.

I would love to hear (positive) stories and if anyone would like to join me, whatever plan you are doing then I would love the company. I have a shit ton of weight to lose and this feels like last chance saloon time.

I signed up to Slimpod about 3.5 months ago. I've not lost any weight but I have reduced my intake of ultra processed foods (UPFs) and actually feel the desire to do some exercise most days so it has pushed me into a more healthier lifestyle which is good. Just wish the fat would go though! They tell you to be patient...the weight didn't go on over a few weeks so it's not going to come off in a few weeks either (sadly!).

The FB page, email support and online videos are really supportive and have some useful information although the FB page does tend to sometimes get a bit 'diety' which is then recognised by the Admins who then bring it back in line (more positivity, talk about gratitude etc). Everyone at slimpod seems to be very reactive to issues.

Sandra, the lady who does all the videos does talk about certain foods (broccoli, asparagus etc) as being something we should eat daily which I find a bit odd plus she does promote fasting. It's very subtle though.

The pods are short and I fall asleep listening to them. They are supposed to connect to the unconscious mind. I'm not sure if it's working or not TBH but I'm glad to be eating healthier and exercising more...just wondering when the fat with start to drop off as it has with others!

There are a couple of other Slimpod threads you can check out on here though; there are some people who have had great success/weight loss with it. They might give you some tips. Good luck with it!

Thank you, I would love a magic fix but I guess that is never going to be out there. And even the idea of not putting any more weight on would be a good start . I have put on approx half a stone a year for the last 6 years and have 4 or 5 stone to lose in total.
I have had a look at a couple of the videos and have joined the facebook page. Trying to park my inner cynic and lean into it all.

Good luck to you too.
