I've got 2 stone to lose...

... and can I fuck get my head into getting it off!

IT HAS TO COME OFF!

I'm sick of feeling uncomfortable, and like nothing fits me right. I'm a dress size bigger than I'd like to be (and if I'm being honest I should probably be buying the next size up from that now.)
I need new clothes badly but refuse to buy any because I want them to be smaller, so everything I own is scruffy.

I just want it gone! It just comes off me so slowly and I feel like I need quicker results (but then I know that it's more likely to go on.)

Maybe I need this thread to keep myself accountable. What are you all doing to shit the weight?

after being 9.5 stone give or take half a stone for most of my adult life my weight peaked at 13 stone during the pandemic, taking me to a size 16. I’m now just under 11 stone which is my 2020 pre-pandemic weight but still have a way to go.

I’ve did some trial and error to see what works for me…briefly tried slimming world, Cambridge diet, exante etc but what I’m doing now is exercise for 30-60 minutes most days, sometimes cardio at the gym but often YouTube exercise and dance videos at home

I eat less far takeaways, sugary & processed foods. Eat more veg and protein. I still do eat bread and pasta but not as much.

I often break up movement throughout the day so I’m consistently moving. Ie. If I go gym in the morning, I’ll dance in my house or do some housework at random intervals throughout the afternoon.

Also I try not to stress about it too much as stress is generally not good and also it slows down weight loss! So as much as I want to rush the process I’m now thinking of it as a healthy lifestyle change that I want to stick with forever.

Lol I'll shit or shift whichever works. I've more to loose, but happy to join you. What have you tried and what's you plan this time?

I'm with you. The wrong side of 12 stone and really need to get fitter and lose some weight.
I started Joe wicks last September but then health issues have got in the way but now I just need some motivation.

I am going to re start JW exercises and plan the meals in the app.

I was in exactly your situation OP, except I had three stone to lose. I spent 4 years feeling lumpen, not buying new clothes, getting puffed out just doing ordinary things like climbing stairs. I'd sort of lost sight of myself and my self esteem was in my boots.

At Christmas I overate and on Boxing night realised I couldn't carry on like this.

In January I joined Slimming World. From day one I felt better as I felt 'in control' of my life again and I steadily lost weight every week.Seven months on I've lost just over 3 stone and am now enjoying feeling much better and have treated myself to a whole new wardrobe.

I thought I was stuck in a pattern that I'd never break out of and that I would never find the motivation to do it. If I can do it, you can. Good luck!
