I was doing slimming world until last night. I was doing it since June and haven't lost a single pound since Aug.

I think it's time for change. I am starting WW on Tuesday. Any body else up for joining me.

dior, have you had your thyroid levels checked..? I remember I was similar last year, wanted to sleep all the time, periods irregular,feeling low and struggling to loose weight (feck sounds like me now.. ) and gp did a full mot on me..my throid levels were fine BUT I had a iron deficiency..

May be worth checking out..?

I decided to give ww a go this week as I have never done it before and in 7 months on sw only lost 6 lb which imo is shocking.
I am doing this before I consult my gp for further action. I MUST loose weight, i don't class myself as a binger or someone who eats alot and the wrong foods so can't see why im no lighter...We have a family history of throid probs so its something I assume may affect me..??

Shhhh, I was at SW too and changed for the same reason. Still have only lost 2 stone in 1 year.

2 stone is good going..given my rate of weight loss it would have taken me 2 years to loose that... I know it probably took that to "go on" BUT I can't take the same time to loose it....

babies hopefully again next year

Keep it up though Oi, I guess that a good aim for me...knowing its working for you x

Well im sticking to the diet but feel bigger than ever iykiwm... Feel bloated..tbh a little worried I won't loose on this diet.

alcohol..............whats that ......I have not had a drop since last weekend . Forgot what it tastes like .Yes im drinking fluids..more than usual.

BTW, im finding im using all my points each day and atm there is no way I could save any iykwim....so what do I do next weekend when out for drinks..? Im usually on vodka or champagne so thats ok points wise BUT I will end up over iykwim....this stresses me...

My weigh day is monday...

evening all. i am sorry to say i am going to have to leave you. not that i have been on here alot just lately.

i have joined slimming world yes i am a slimming club whore!

i just could count the points and didnt undersatnd the core plan. so i have gone back to slimming world.
at least i know what i can eat and not have to count it.

i am going to start another thread see if i can get anyone to help and support each other as much as you all have for me.

i just got weighed and i am 16 st 7.5, so all but 8 pound has gone back on since i started.

am going home tomorrow after a week of eating ice creams in poole!!! Managed to keep up the exercise but did not count any points. Am undecided whether or not to attend weigh in on sat. What do you think?

shhh, the only thing to do is do lots of exercise before hand and bank those points. Also try to have some 'free' meals. I know it ain't easy, I am on 20 points and if i eat even a little of something naughty the poits all vanish!

Shhh during the week I live on free soup with 3 ryvitta so thats only 1.5pts a meal

see don't think I could manage free soup...The taste I mean.

Im on 21 a day and a typical day is:

Breakfast: Bagel or toast
Lunch:ww tuna, crackers or a bagel and fruit
Dinner: Spag bol or salmon and salad
Snacks: tend to be fruit or ww biscuits BUT I have cut down snacking loads this week since joining...

Thing is as I only started it on monday I seem to have hit the floor running iykwim and seem to be doing it while I go along.

Yes, I do fill up with other foods such as pasta, veg, fruit and salad. The foods I have listed are pointed foods iykiwm.

I guess as I go along and start to go bored with what im having I will start to find alternatives. TBH I thought till I got my head around it I would spend a week or so on pre made ww meals BUT surprised myself that Im not and I am actually making up my own meals . Now just need to find lower points meals..
