I just tried on a size 14 and it was tight. This is the the push I need to finally lose weight. Anyone with me?

I haven't lost the baby weight since my youngest DD, who's 3. I'm short and none of my clothes fit and I look terrible in everything. I have 2.5 stone to lose to reach a healthy weight, and 3.5 to be back to where I was. Anyone want to join on an accountability/ cheering each other long thread? My plan is to start working out again TONIGHT and try the 8:16 fast.

I’ll join you if you’d like? I’m similar in that I would like to lose 2.5 stone to feel like ‘me’ again but 3.5 stone weight loss would be ideal!

I’ve never been on a proper diet before! Mine wasn’t pregnancy related I just started comfort eating when the lockdowns started and have never really made an effort to shift the weight and it always seems so hard when I do try but it only lasts for two weeks or so!

However, my boys will both be at school this year and I really feel like this is the change that I need to lose weight and feel better in myself!

How have you got on past few days?

Same here. 2.5 to feel better about myself and 3.5 for the pre-baby weight. My youngest is 8 though so it's been creeping on over the years almost without me noticing.

I've been doing 16/8 since Monday and finding it good so far. I'm eating between 12 and 8.

What's anyone else doing?

Thanks for joining! The exercise side of things is going well and I've worked out the last three days, the diet less so. Yesterday I was doing well until I has a Mr Whippy, I was getting one for the kids and couldn't resist. Today is a new day! I'm trying to only eat between 12pm - 8pm too.

Me please... I could have written this op. Have health issues now due to being overweight.

Had a similar moment back in mid May and have lost the stone that had snuck on (I’m short, it showed!).

Stick with it ladies, it’s so well worth doing.

Going for dinner tonight and steeling myself to have a salad, rather than my usual burger. We've got this!
