How to lose a stone?

Had a baby three months ago and looking to start shifting some of the weight (not breastfeeding anymore). Mainly because I can't afford a whole new wardrobe

I know the obvious things of eat less, exercise more but I've never had to lose weight or diet before so not sure of most effective way. When I exercise more I also then have a massive appetite so doesn't work very well!

I'm not looking to do anything extreme or quick fix and will take care of myself post partum etc but would love to get some tips of easy things I can do.

Weight loss is mostly about diet tbh. You have to do a lot of exercise to burn a few calories. Eg
10 minutes jogging; 5 minutes sprinting = 100 calories
that’s a slice of bread, with no butter! It’s all about making good food choices and portion control.
Congratulations on your new baby.

Thanks @Imnotmadaboutit !

I think I need to focus on diet a bit more. I've eaten anything I wanted in pregnancy and during breastfeeding but time to reign it in. Dont really want to calorie count or anything so maybe just being sensible

The best way to lose it and keep it off is go slow. .5 lb pwk. So 14lbs will take 28 weeks. In that time frame you will be so used to new healthy habits they will stick and you'll keep the weight off.

Thanks @heartofglass23

I'm going to go steady with it, think I'll just need to get eating habits back in line. I've got used to very regular snacking and quite large portions for example
