Have you done Noom?

I'm seeing Noom everywhere at the moment, and wonder if anyone has tried it.

From what I've read weight loss is pretty quick. But what I don't understand is - once you have lost the weight, and start eating, for want of a better word - normal food - doesn't the weight go back on again?

What I'm asking is, is it sustainable long term?

DH tried it. Made no difference at all.

He's found that calorie counting using my fitness pal and some time restricted eating to be the best and most sustainable strategy.

I'm doing it. It's about learning healthy habits so that you can fix your eating long term. I've learnt a lot tbf.

Can I ask you some questions please? I'm really keen, but a bit baffled.

Firstly how much is it? Is it possible to fit it in with a family? And what happens when you get to your goal weight? How do you start to eat 'normally'?

I signed up for the two week trial yesterday. Not sure I’ll continue with it.

As for putting weight back on afterwards- it’s like any diet. If you go back to eating the way you ate to gain weight in the first place then it stands to reason you will regain the weight.

It's basically the same as my fitness Pal but with a load of articles to read too. And it sorts your food into green, yellow and red food. So most of your day should be green food. When I did it you could pay what you wanted to start with, some kind of offer they were doing I think.
I didn't find the articles that enlightening tbh and with only myself to be accountable to, I found I just didn't stick to it.
As with any diet, once you have lost weight, if you start eating the way you did to gain weight then you will gain the weight again.
